Cannabees Brand System

Ingredients for a Consistent Look.

Consistency relies on more than the logo, colors and type. Shapes, patterns, icons and photography finish the story.

Shapes

Inspired by our name and our icon: round, circular and hexagonal. Avoid uneven or non-geometric shapes in favor of balanced angles & curves.

Circles & HexagonsThe standard shapes that best represent our identity — as elements or grouped into patterns.
Hemp Leaf, Infinity & HexagonPulled directly from the icon. Use as pattern elements, frames and other graphics.
Sound WavesSo much of what we do is sound, frequency, music & the digital world.

Patterns

Approved for backgrounds, print and packaging. Feel free to invert a colorway — but never otherwise modify the colors.

Photography

A Great Photo Can Change Everything.

Every image should reflect our customers in the best light and inspire a craving for creative expression, art, music, cannabis, connection and fashion.

A woman smiling in a sunflower field
Natural, Organic, Grounded — Yet Modern & New AgeClean, fresh and dynamic. Seek excellent lighting with contrast between highlights and shadows — even if it's just an open window. Darken the blacks and slightly desaturate the reds for a grounded calm.
A cheerful artist wearing headphones
Dynamic, Alive, Interesting AnglesUse the foreground and background to spark curiosity. Shallow depth of field and concealing shadows draw the eye. Marketing & social can play with angles; mix framing distances in compositions.
A group of friends using VR headsets
PeopleThe heart of our brand. Relaxed, happy and engaged — captured in the moment, not posed, and not looking into the lens. Get a signed release before showing identifiable customers.
Young artists working in a craft workshop
Still Life & EventsThe vibe of our live events & pop-ups. Clean and clutter-free — unless it's an artist mid-flow, paint everywhere. Then it's totally welcome.
Macro shot of a cannabis flower
Product & MerchShot flat at eye level or top-down, filling the frame, lines straight. Simple, out-of-focus backgrounds; detail shots use shallow depth of field.
Textures Natural or raw materials add depth — marble, tile, stone, brick (plastic is fine when it's VR). Don't set typography over textures.
